The Nebraska Liquor Control Commission is committed to the health, safety, and welfare of the State of Nebraska. To that end the Commission approves certified server-seller trainings for liquor retailers and their employees as well as maintains a certification that individuals have completed an approved server-seller training. Approved server-seller trainings can be found below.

To make sure your alcohol training is accepted and properly recorded, follow these simple steps. This will help you avoid delays and extra fees.

✅ Important Things to Know

  • The certificate you get from an approved training class is a class certificate.
  • Your certificate must be uploaded to your POSSE account.
  • You only need to complete one approved class.
  • Taking more than one class is optional and won’t be reimbursed.
  • If the Liquor Control Commission requires the training, you must upload your certificate to POSSE.
  • If the training is voluntary, uploading is not required — keep your certificate for your records.

📤 How to Upload Your Certificate

    • Create a Posse account or make sure you already have one:

      • At 1:43 in the video, do this instead:
      • Click “Yes” (not “No” as shown in the video)
      • Enter the access code you were given (one will be provided for you by our agency)
      • Follow the rest of the video to complete the application steps.
      • Upload your class certification:
      • Log in to your POSSE account
      • Upload the file (Class Certificate)
      • Select the correct document type before submitting
      • Take the 10-question assessment in your POSSE account and submit it.
      • Finish the process:
      • Go to the Certification Overview page
      • Click the green “Complete” button.
