Industry Advisory- Golf Course during COVID-19
Nebraska Liquor Control Commission
This advisory is temporary in nature and specific to those in the Liquor industry in Nebraska.
The following are Rule and Statutory provisions that the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission is modifying during the pendency of this crisis.
In response to the ongoing disruption caused by the COVID-19 emergency, the NLCC will be modifying its operations.
The NLCC is offering clarification for Golf Courses located in Nebraska:
There have been questions regarding the ability on golf courses to allow consumption of alcoholic beverages on the course. Since the open and outdoor characteristics of the course would avail itself to adequate social distancing, consumption on the golf course is allowed. Please note consumption in the club house may be limited to 10 or less OR not allowed at all based if the golf location is located within the counties identified in a Directed Health Measure.
To be clear, off-sale privileges out of the club house as well as in to-go containers are allowed if the golf course holds the appropriate license. Reference Governor Ricketts Executive Order No. 20-09.
Thank you,
Hobert B. Rupe
